Oil and Acrylic Painting With Lacey Jane Wilburn
Join Emily Carr professor and local artist Lacey Jane for a four week in-depth painting course. Explore everything from sketching and grisaille to advanced colour theory, creating depth and texture, expressive movement, and finishing techniques.

Expressive Theatre, Music & Art Camp with Aude Ray (6-8yo)
Aude Ray returns to her acclaimed Expressive Arts Camp combining visual arts with music, song and theatre play creation. Paint, draw, sing, learn to play instruments, create stories and songs and develop costumes and theatre sets for a fun performance on the final day!

Into the Groove Band Camp with Papa Josh, July 13-17, 2026 (ages 9-13)
A fun, active way for students of any instrument to play in a band, develop their sense of rhythm and deepen their understanding of music. From rock and swing to funk, hip-hop and more with acclaimed musician and instructor Papa Josh Suhrheinrich.
Beginner to intermediate, minimum six months of instrumental experience.

Music Production Camp with Papa Josh (ages 12-16)
Learn to create, compose snd record music from beats to bed tracks to instrumentation and vocals, working with Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs), recording equipment and editing software. Papa Josh will walk you through the process and leave you with a new musical project!
Landscape Painting with Cass Dickinson August (ages 9-14)
This 3-day camp will focus on fostering creativity, experimentation, and hands-on learning in a supportive environment. We will go through fun painting exercises to learn about colour mixing, blending, and creating gradients. Ultimately, children will be taught the same artistic process I, and many other artists, utilize to create a painting. If your children have an interest in art, this is the camp for them!

C. R. Avery’s East Van Abbey Cabaret
C.R. Avery brings his long-running East Van Abbey Cabaret back to Whistler with a whole new show. Featuring his house band, the Storm Collective, along with a host of talented artists delivering everything from rock ‘n’ roll and boogie blues to spoken word, performance art, comedy and dance. It’s an eclectic, high energy night in a cabaret setting at The Point. The East Van Abbey Cabaret has been drawing monthly Vancouver audiences for years, and C. R. Avery is now taking it on the road to share with audiences across the province.

The Point is thrilled to announce the return of Juno and Polaris Prize nominee Danny Michel. Danny last graced the Point stage in February 2022, and he’s included Whistler as a stopover on his Spring 2026 Canadian tour. Early ticket purchase is advised to not miss out on this cherished Canadian musician and songwriter.
Wet Felting with Cléa Thomas
Learn the basics of wet felting and make a flat felted piece of artwork that can be framed. Cléa Thomas, originally from France and based in Pemberton, BC, fell in love with wool a few years ago. She enjoys experimenting and creating fun, unique pieces, and her workshops are accessible to all skill levels.

11th Annual Winter Carnival at The Point - Monday!
MONDAY AFTERNOON - FEBRUARY 16
On Monday February 16, from 12-4PM the afternoon will be filled with all ages activities including snow sculpting, doughnut eating, and ice dancing competitions, DJ Ira Dance Party (1PM), curling and shinny (ice permitting), costumed characters, live outdoor music from Greg Kelly and Rachel Strobl, Family Portraits by Lin, and scrumptious lunch and hot and cold drinks available from the Cypress Point Café and Harrop’s Bar. What a great way to spend BC Family Day!
11th Annual Winter Carnival at The Point - Sunday Night!
The Winter Carnival at The Point is a community celebration featuring live music, dinner and dancing, and a host of free afternoon activities celebrating winter through the lens of the arts.
The evening dinner show on Sunday, February 15 presents The ReViberators, East Vancouver’s rockin’ three-piece surf guitar band.
The evening also includes a Comedy & Winter Art Auction by Laugh Out Live!, dinner, dancing, and a cash bar.
Doors at 6PM with Dinner Tickets, 7PM for Show Only Tickets.
Stop Motion Animation with Cléa Thomas
Learn the basics of stop motion animation and create your own cool animations using clay and your phone or tablet. Open to participants of all skill levels.
Cléa Thomas is a Pemberton, BC-based artist who facilitates stop-motion animation workshops, combining accessible techniques with storytelling and experimentation.
Adults and Teens 14+
$45 includes supplies. Participants should bring their phone or tablet with the free app Stop Motion installed.
