Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre

Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre

Waltz on down to The Point Saloon for this year’s Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre (and our annual fundraiser)! Sidle up to the bar and get ready to divine who’s trustworthy and who’s the true outlaw. Feasting on a spectacular multi-course barbecue dinner by Red Seal Chef Frédéric Royer, tip a glass or three of fine wine selected by the Whistler Wine Guy (he seems innocent enough) or go straight for a neat whisky with a Steamworks craft brew chaser.

The piano may be drinking and the cards flying, but Auctioneer Chris Quinlan will work his magic from the stage, the spinning wheel will offer great prizes and DJ Acey Oakley will have you dancing up a storm. If a barroom brawl erupts, you can always take cover at the silent auction tables to grab some spectacular deals.

Written and directed by Vancouver playwright John McGie, The Chair Series is theatre at its most fundamental level. There are no large props, costumes or elaborate sets. The only prop is a chair for each actor and some sound to augment the story…
