The Point Artist Run Centre is seeking original works by artists and artisans for our “$100 and Under” art show and fundraiser! Opening night October 17. Details TBD. See you there!

Paintings, sculpture, ceramic, jewelry, photography and mixed media, etc. are all accepted. All works priced at $100 or less, and you decide what portion of the sale to donate to The Point (25%, 50%, 75% or 100%)

Practicing artists (ages 16 and up) from Whistler, Pemberton, Mt. Currie, Vancouver and the Sea to Sky corridor are welcome to submit up to 6 artworks each.

JAM! BLUEGRASS and acoustic! Whether you’ve come before or this is your first time, you’re welcome. Beginner friendly. Don’t play but want to listen? Also fantastic. $10 minimum donation.

Bring a friend, grab a drink, and enjoy a fun, creative night out painting a colourful fall mountain landscape (Nov.3) or Winter Bear (Dec.8). Andrea will guide you step-by-step, making painting easy and fun, so no experience is needed. 

November 3 & December 8, 7-9PM
$50 includes supplies and a glass of wine

Led by local artist and Emily Carr University instructor Lacey Jane Wilburn, this course is designed for artists of all levels. With instruction in both oil and acrylic, create one canvas over four weeks to produce a finished work of art.

November 10, 17, 24 & December 1, 6-9PM
$350 includes supplies

A relaxed, two-evening workshop where participants learn to draft a simple pair of custom-fit pants. Leave with new skills, a reusable custom pattern, and a fun, social experience shared over local craft beer.

(For confident beginners to intermediate sewists. Own machine required for Class 2)

$160 includes supplies and a beverage of choice
