Songwriting with Aude Ray

August 13 & 15 | 7pm - 9:30pm
$30 for each workshop or $50 for both.

Singer-songwriter Aude Ray returns to Whistler and The Point Artist-Run Centre for two songwriting workshops on August 13 and August 15 from 7-9:30pm.  Aude Ray will share her favourite techniques and provide participants with the tools to write and compose their own songs.

Following two sold-out five-day music camps, instructor Papa Josh Suhrheinrich has added a one-day camp on Saturday, August 22.  Young instrumentalists and vocalists will collaborate on new songs, styles, skills, on The Point stage with professional sound. Ages 8 – teens, limited to 8 participants

Wednesdays, July 3 - August 7, 2019 (7–9:30pm)  $250+GST

This teen acting intensive with performance coach and entertainer Ira Pettle will marry each participant with a monologue to be rehearsed and performed at the Flag Stop Festival on August 11. (6 Wednesdays followed by dress rehearsal and performances. Ages 13–17. (Upon registration please email thepointinfo@gmail.com with child's name and age)



July 29 – August 2, 2019 (9am-3pm)

Early bird rate $300 until June 17 | Ages 6-12.

Join Whistler kids entertainer Ira Pettle for a week of improv and acting on the shores of beautiful Alta Lake! In addition to the fun, participants will build confidence, enhance communication and listening skills, exercise creativity and team-based play, with a performance on the final day of camp!

Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday 4-5:30pm, 3 per class. Ages 7-Teens

Or two 40-minute sessions online per week.

Choose your monologue, meet your director, develop your character, create your props and set, design your costume, record your show and share it!
Ages 7 – Teens  $240 for one month

A fun, active way for students of any instrument to play in a band, develop their sense of rhythm and deepen their understanding of music. From rock to swing, funk, hip-hop and more with acclaimed musician and instructor Papa Josh Suhrheinrich.
Ages 8 – teens, limited to 8 participants.  $350 as of June 16. Will be conducted as an online camp if conditions warrant.
