The Point Artist-Run Centre brings its summer Flag Stop Theatre and Arts Festival from the floating stage on Alta Lake to the beautiful Maury Young Arts Centre for two nights of theatre, dance and live music.
Friday night features the Whistler "dry land" premiere of Stephen Vogler's new stage play, About the Moose––a hilarious romp through the swamp. A witty satire on bureaucracy and wildlife management that is both moving and drop dead funny. Friday night also features a dynamic live set by East Vancouver's spoken word artist and outlaw hip hop harmonica player C.R. Avery! Saturday night's show opens with a dance performance by Trish Belsham's Gruff Goat Dance Theatre followed by an encore performance of About the Moose.
